The following obit for Yvonne appeared in the May, 24, 1992 Journal:
HUSTON, VYONNE N, 54, of Garden City Beach, Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Middleway, died Friday in Charleston, South Carolina at Medical University Hospital. Born April 13, 1938 in Middleway, Jefferson County, she was the daughter of the late Harry L and Nancy Kathryn (Pifer) Nicely.
She was an LPN, having worked for the Jeffersonian Manor Nursing Home, Charles Town, before moving to South Carolina. She had been a telephone operator with General Telephone Company, Charles Town. She was a former member of the Middleway United Methodist Church, where she had been an active member of the church choir. She was a graduate of Charles Town High School, Class of 1956. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Charles Town Chapter 1028, and the W.O.T.M. Academy of Friendship. She was a former member of the Charles Town Women's Club.
Surviving are her second husband, Havel J Huston, at home; one son, Douglas B Creamer of Jefferson Village, Charles Town; two step-sons, Jay Huston of Abington, MD and Mark Huston of East Patatka, Fla and a granddaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Creamer.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph B Creamer, who died March 31, 1985; one daughter, Kathryn Lynn Creamer, who died Sept. 21, 1979; an infant sister Juanita Nicely; and one brother, Charles Lee "Pete" Nicely, who died in 1979.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Saturday at the Middleway Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Richard E Neal officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson County Chapter of the American Heart Association, c/o Robert D Ott, 420 Forest Ave., Charles Town, W. Va. 25414. Arrangements by: Melvin T Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town.
