Did "W" see the Stillwells: went to Blowing rock yesterday. Frances, Ken went horseback riding in the Coven estate. Leaving tomorrow for Asheville and going on from there. Gladys' Addressed to: "Father [illegible] R.N. Wilcox, 410 North Main St., Jamestown, NY." Postmarked 1 September 1927.
Description: A man in a clearing in the woods with a bunch of barrels. The number 93119 is printed on the back of the card and it is postmarked 1 September 1927."
Lumber was not the only industry pursued in the forests.
