- From her obituary in The Plymouth Reporter, "...Mrs Robert Stolper Jr., a well known and highly respectred resident of teh township of Sherman was released from earthly suffering and called to her eternal rest, Friday, March 18 at 3 A.M.....married to Robert...and went to housekeeping on the groom's farm, one mile north of Silver Creek, where they have since resided....She was a woman of a happy and cheerful nature whose gentleness of manner and kindly disposition won for her hosts of friends who are deeply grieved at her untimely demise. She was a true Christian and a life long member of St John's Lutheran Church.
