The following obit for Havel appeared in the November16, 1992 Journal:
HUSTON, HAVEL, J., 63, of Abington, Md., died Saturday in the Harford Memorial Hospital in Harford, MD. Born Jan. 20, 1929, he was the son of Samuel and Dorcas (Ling) Huston.
He was retired from the U.S. Department of the Interior. He was of the Protestant faith and served during the Korean War with the U.S. Army.
Surviving are two sons, Jay L. Huston of Abington, Md.; Marl T Huston of East Palatka, Fla.; one step-son, Douglas B Creamer of Charles Town; two grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and one brother, Clay T Huston of Garden City, S.C. He was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne (Nicely) Creamer Huston in May.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Middleway Masonic Cemetery in Middleway. No visitation is planned. Arrangements are being handled by the Melvin T Strider Colonial Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Jefferson County chapter of the American Cancer Society of Glenda Pierce at Blakeley Bank in Ranson,
