Find-A-Grave:
"Henrietta A. McAninch Hamilton, 88, of Brazil died February 12, 2013 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born February 24, 1924 in Marion County, the daughter of Albert Fendley and Flora Henchen Fendley. As a young lady, she married Harvey E. McAninch, Sr in 1941 and together they raised their six children.
In her work career, she worked at RCA in Indianapolis, DePauw University in Greencastle and then worked for over 17 years for Mallory Co. in Terre Haute. She also worked for a time at CBS and last worked at Pizza Hut in Brazil.
Henrietta was a member of TOPS, and enjoyed bowling, playing BUNCO and had been a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge. She also enjoyed going to Rose-Hulman to listen to blue-grass music. She was a member of the First Christian Church and enjoyed going to her Sunday school class. At the age of 60, she obtained her GED. That was an important goal for her and she saw it through to completion." |
