I just spoke further from a distant relative who wanted to call to give me more information. She says that:
Avraham Eliezer Sagalowich who owned a mill in Grodno and had an advocation for the violin was married twice. She says that the first marriage had three children - Issah, who took some type of pill to keep him out of the Army - hence he died at age 21; Osher who died young as he drowned at his father's mill trying to free up a mill wheel and Meyer. Meyer married Deborah and they had two sons, Jack and Morris. Deborah wanted to go back as she was lonely for her family so off they went. Jack remained in New York and became an artist and owned the 47th Street Gallery. He married Ann. Morris moved to New Jersey.
I don't know what this does with your research, but I am passing along the information. Unfortunately, I cannot find any info on Meyer and Deborah, Jack or Morris on Ancestry.
