Janice Elaine Nicely Shaulis, 65, of 632 Laurel Lane, Bluemont died Friday March 30, 2001, at her home. She was born May 30, 1935 in Middleway, W. Va., the daughter of Laurence Clifton and Margaret Dillow Nicely. She was an underwriter for Traveler's Insurance Co. and a member of AARP.
She married Richard Lee Shaulis, who died August 23, 1966. Surviving with her parents of Bluemont are two sons, Laurence Clifton Wright of Kirby, W. Va.; and Mark Allan Shaulis of Bluemont; a daughter, Karis Elaine Feidler of Augusta, W. Va.; a sister Nancy Nicely Slepetz of Charles Town, S.C.; several grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two sons David Grant Wright and Harriman McClellan Wright are deceased.
Graveside services will be at 1 PM Tuesday at the Masonic Cemetery in Middleway, W. V. with the Rev. Cannon Dwight L Brown. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 39 S Gate Court, Suite 102, Harrisonburg 22801 or the Grace Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 678, Berryville 22611. Arrangements are being handled by: Enders and Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville.
