"FLEISCHHAUER, Jeffrey Alan, 62, of Salem, Va., passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016, surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Thomas and Virginia Hays Fleischhauer; and his cherished aunt, Edna Caperon.
Jeffrey attended Marietta College, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree. He received his MBA from the University of Connecticut and his law degree from the University of Tulsa. He was the founding partner of Shenandoah Legal Group, established in 1994. As a member of Southview United Methodist Church, he served as leader of the praise and worship team, Heartsong, for many years. In 2015, he was confirmed in the Catholic Church, and enjoyed singing in the choir at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. . . . He greatly enjoyed helping people in his practice, and deeply missed it following his retirement. He was known for his humor and quick wit, his kindness, intelligence and faith, and his love for others."
