- Find-A-Grave: "Mrs. Lillian Deal Adams, 65, of Rt. 3, Taylorsville, was dead on arrival at Alexander County Hospital Tuesday evening. She was born in Alexander County May 20, 1909 a daughter of the late Bim Deal and Mary Marlowe Deal.
Mrs. Adams was a member of White Plains Baptist Church in Alexander County. Burial will be in the White Plains Baptist Church cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur Adams; a son, Frank Shook of South Carolina; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Robinson of Gainesville, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ella Little of Alexander County; three stepsons, Ted Adams and Glenn Adams, both of Alexander County, and Floyd Adams of Iredell County; three sisters, Mrs. Lois McLain of Alexander County, Mrs. Faye Johnson of Linwood and Mrs. Addie Parker of Andrews; and two brothers, Paul Deal of Kannapolis and Donald Deal of Missoula, Mont."
