"Evelean Mullins Willis, who was 88 years old, went to be with The Lord on February 16, 2008, following a lengthy illness. She was the only daughter of Rosa (Fleming) and Rev. Hampton Mullins of the Skeetrock community, where she was a member of the Cumberland Church of the Brethren for over 70 years. Her brothers were Arnold, Olvia, John and Rev. L. Myers Mullins, all of whom preceded her in death, and Tennil Mullins, who remains to mourn her loss. She was also preceded in death by her beloved sisters-in-law, Sybil, Orpha, Lyda and Rhetta. She was also preceded in death by her husband Chalmer Senter, Tony Hill and Cova Willis.
She is survived by dear sisters-in-law, Emma Jean Mullins, Madge Mullins and Tona Mullins. She also is survived by her children, Dr. James P. Senter and his wife, Ginger, of Caney Ridge and Anna Sue Senter Kendrick and her husband, Wayne, of Sterling, Alaska. Her surviving grandchildren are Robin Kendrick Bush and Pamela Kendrick Kenally of Anchorage, Alaska; Jeff Kendrick of Lewiston, Texas and Rachel Senter Puckett of Efland, NC. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren: Amanda, Clayton and Cameron Bush, Christopher, Patrick and Abigail Kennally and Ryan and Emma Puckett. She was also blessed with 4 great-great grandchildren: McKenzie Anderson of Texas, Makayla Bell of Peters Creek Alaska, Alicia Kennally of Anchorage Alaska, and Heath Kennally of Largo Maryland. Another great-great grandchild is expected later this month.
The family will receive visitors at 6:00pm Wednesday February 20, 2008 at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 6:30pm. A brief burial ceremony will take place at the Phipps Cemetery in Clintwood on Thursday February 21 at 11:00am. Her nephew Rev. Johnny Maurice Mullins will conduct the service with Rev. Harold Rose of The Cumberland Church of the Brethren. ance. Pallbearers will be her nephews and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be The staff at Heritage Hall nursing home."
