Robert J is one of the valued and respected farmers of Sheboygan County, where he is engaged in the cultivation of a farm of eighty acres, located in the township of Sherman....was reared in his father's home and educated in a German school of Sherman township (St John). He remained under the parental roof until the time of his marriage, at which time his father made him a present of a farm of 81 acres, which he had purchased in 1884, and upon that farm he established his home. He has since improved the place with all the necessary buildings, including a residence, barns and sheds required in the operation of a general farming and dairying business. He has one of the best and most up-to-date dairy stock farms in this part of Sheboygan County, using at present in his dairy fifteen head of high-grade dairy cattle....Mr Stolper is affiliated with the Republican Party and is a member of the Lutheran church of Sherman township. He is one of the highly respected men of Sheboygan County and is interested in any measure of public concern, seeking to improve the educational, religious and material conditions of the people of his section.

Lizzie and husband Robert lived on their farm near Gooseville until 1922 when son Arno married and took over the home farm. They moved to Adell where they had a large garden with grapevines and fruit trees. Aunt Lizzie always kept busy with her flowers, vegetable gardening, canning and baking. Her pantry could always produce a batch of cookies or kuchen or fresh bread at any time. Her poppyseed kuchen was famous.
