This marriage is one of seven Deal family marriages performed between 1815 and 1821 in Harrison County, IN: John, Andrew, Daniel, Elizabeth, Mary, Michael, & Moses Deal. ECW, p. 9: "Andrew Deal was a blacksmith in partnership with his brother, John Deal, who married Mary Barnett's older sister, Sally Barnett. Andrew and Mary (Polly) lived in Bowling Green, Clay, IN for some time and then moved to Putnam County, IN, where they lived about two miles from the old [Barnett?] mill. . . ."
