- In the 1880 Federal Census for Aubry Township, Johnson County, Kansas the family of Levi B Senter appears. His wife Hannah is listed as age 43, who was born in Ohio, her father was born in Ohio and her mother was born in New York.
Included in the family is a daughter Virginia, age 18, a son named George age 16 and John, a son age 12, there is a step son by the name of Nelson Grovner, born in Indiana, with both parents born in Ohio. Virginia, George and John are all shown as born in Virginia with both their parents born in Virginia.
Apparently Hannah was the widow of Mr. Grovner, the father of Nelson.
