- About 1931, Mollie Ethel (Deal) Easter married Ray Bocock. Alice Imogene "Jean" Easter did not get along with Ray Bocock and, during her last high school years at Shortridge High School, moved to the home of her Aunt Iva Florence (Deal) and uncle Roy Elmer Thomas, on Grason St, Indianapolis, Marion, IN. I can recall my cousin's doing her homework from high school as well as the night her boyfriend picked her up in his parents' automobile, quite a sensation at the time!
"Jean" Easter again lived with Roy Elmer and Iva Florence Thomas in Cincinnati OH about 1937-38 when Jean met Robert M. Kuck, and in 1943-1945 while husband Robert M. Kuck was in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific.
Robert M. Kuck went to work during the depression of the 1930s for Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company in the Yellow Pages Department, despite the relatively low salary, because, he said, "It is a job for life." He ultimately retired from Cincinnati Bell and moved Abt. 1980 with his wife, Jean, to Cape Coral, Lee, FL.
