SINGER, FRANK Woodland Hills - Frank Singer, 80, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at home in his sleep. He leaves his wife of 48 years, Terry (Chester) Singer; his son, Lance Singer; his son, Joel Singer and his wife, Faith Singer; his sister, Bernice Cohen; his nephew, Preston Fields and his wife, Norma Fields, and their two children, Samuel and Daniel; his nephew Craig Fields; and numerous close friends. Born to Joseph and Dora Singer in Chicago where he was raised, until the age of 16, when the family moved to Los Angeles. After graduating from Los Angeles High, he joined the Air Force. He owned Joseph's Dry Cleaners for 25 years before retiring. Mr. Singer was a founding member of Temple Aliyah. He volunteered for many years at West Hills Hospital. An avid golfer, Mr. Singer was a longtime member of The Calabasas Country Club. He also enjoyed playing poker and other card games with his friends. Mr. Singer was a friend to all. He loved all the people in his life and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Frank will be buried in the family plot.
