Mrs. Alberts was born in McMinnville on Jan. 30, 1940 to Darrell and Thelma Wyatt. She grew up and attended school in the Portland-metro area. She married Robert [John] Alberts, and the couple spent 45 years together until his death in 2001. She spent her working career with the Portland Public School District. Survivors include her daughters Rhonda Schrage of West Linn, Michelle Latanzi of Dallas, Tasha Alberts of West Linn, and her sons David Alberts of Oregon City, Jay Alberts of Portland, Robbie and Kahlil Alberts, both of West Linn, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life was held on Jan. 3, 2009 at the West Linn Adult Community Center.' Judith Ann Alberts was born Jan. 30, 1940, in McMinnville. She graduated from Milwaukie High School and was a data entry clerk for Portland Public Schools for about 25 years. She was also a foster mother through the state for about 20 children. She moved to West Linn in 1975. In 1958, she married Robert Alberts; he died in 2001. Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Schrage, Michelle Latanzi and Tasha Alberts; sons, David, Jay, Robbie and Kahlil; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.'
