"Elza Early, 1808 West Ruple street died in Memorial hospital at 10:40 p.m. Sunday. He was born in Brazil, Ind., June 11, 1896, and came here in 1930. He leaves his widow, Emma Haverland Early; eight sons, Hiram, Ross, William, Lawrence, Harold and Charles all of South Bend; Robert, at home, and Elias, jr., Mishawaka; two daughters, Nora and Patricia, at home; two brothers, Otto, South Bend, and John, in Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Buchols, Brazil, and Mrs. Byron Wilson and Mrs. Andrew Roades, both of Terre Haute, Ind., and a grandchild. He was employed by Sears Roebuck & Co."
