"CW4 (ret) William G. "Jerry" Grogan was born March 18th, 1938 in Sequim, Washington to William C. and Dorothy Grogan. He was raised and attended high school in Stanfield, Oregon. Jerry joined the service and served his Country honorably as a combat engineer. His bravery during his three tours of Vietnam earned him a purple heart and multiple other medals. He retired after 26 years of devoted service with honors from the U.S. Army as an officer. Upon retirement he became a field supervisor with COBRA Corp. and later a purchasing manager with Bunce Rental. Jerry was a great man, dedicated to his country, and extremely well-read. Jerry enjoyed intellectual banter with family and friends and most importantly he loved his family. Jerry passed away on October 23rd, 2009, at home where he wanted to be. Jerry is survived by his sons Eric, Todd, and Willy, and close family friend Janet, who was thought of as a daughter by Jerry, as well as eight grandchildren, his siblings Sharon, Mike, and Shelby."
