"Marvin Jack Winings, 73, of Watseka, IL formerly of Oak Lawn, IL died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at his home. He was born July 7, 1936, in Gays, the son of Glenn and Margaret Hicks Winings. He married Diane Wright June 29, 1957, in Chicago. She survives in Watseka.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by two brothers, Raymond (Irene) Winings of New Lenox and Byron Willard (Joyce) Winings Of Cathedral City Ca.;sister Margaret Ann (Richard) Bruzek of Windsor Il., a special niece, Patricia Cleary of New Lenox.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Judith Lnn Fleischmann,brothers George Ruse Winings Donald Glenn Winings; James Robert Winings and David Lee Winings.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.
