My mother is Hattie Hunley and my father is Joseph Williams. I do not remember the year my father was killed on the railroad but I was small. They had separated and father had remarried. Hattie lived in Hutchinson, Kansas. My half sister, name unknown"
Testimony by Oscar Williams, who talks about his half sister Alma:
"My half sister was once married to a man named John George, South Enid, Oklahoma and he may know about her. I had a letter from him asking abut my half sister and he intimated she would not stay at home. Those are the only ones I can refer to who would be of any help to the Bureau in this matter. Signed: Oscar Williams.
To me [sic; Alma was a person who] was married several times, but who lived some place in Oklahoma; and last I knew of her, corresponded with mother and knew her whereabouts."
